Fender Guitar Models

The Telecaster is the first commercially successful solid-body electric guitar. It was originally named Broadcaster, but Gretsch claimed that they own the trademark so it was renamed to Telecaster.

Telecaster Thinline

The Thinline was created to address the problem of limited supply of lightweight ash.  The ash wood available at the time was heavy so they created a hollow version of the Telecaster.

Stratocaster

The Stratocaster is a double-cutaway with three pickups and switch positions, making it a versatile guitar.

Jaguar

The Jaguar has a shorter scale length, but has more frets and controls than the Telecaster and Stratocaster.

Mustang

The Mustang is Fender’s first entry-level model with a tremolo.

Telecaster Deluxe

Meet the Telecaster with two humbuckers and a Stratocaster headstock.

Lead I

This model features a bridge split-humbucker that lets you select several single and humbucker wiring options.

  1. Cool! Here's a trivia for you: did you know that the first teles were made of pine? (1946-1948)

  2. Thanks for the trivia! Pine wood is good and they used it lately on the highly praised telecaster classic vibe. However, pine is a softwood so it could get dents easily,
